We supply software to cover our full range of machines. The software is always compatible with the latest Windows package and will run on most desktop PC’s. The package includes machine settings for any given pipe bend configuration. The specification of the software supplied with every Gregson Machine is:

 

ü       Provides the machine operator with: All the machine settings required to bend carbon steel pipe sizes and wall thickness to achievable bend radius, this includes:

 

1.       Generator power output kW

2.       Feed Rate

3.       Clamp pressures

4.       Bend radius

5.       Bend angle

6.       Temperature settings

7.       Developed length of bend.

8.       Pipe length requirements

9.       Compression length of the pipe during bending.

10.    Bend Time

11.    Floor to floor time

 

ü       3D bending simulation to find the most efficient and cost-effective way to bend your component prior to going into production.

ü       3D anti collision test prior to bending. This includes the work area and all parts of the machine.

ü       Predicted ovality and wall thinning results.

ü       A graphic printout of the finished bend and end preparation details.

ü       It provides the NDT department with a custom made chart for each bend.

ü       It flags a warning to the machine operator if he goes outside the limitation of pipe or machine strength. (This is dictated by bend radius) and advises the operator of the minimum bend radius achievable.

ü       All dimensions can be in metric or imperial.

ü       Can be personalised. Add your company logo prior to delivery.

ü       Costing information based on the customers information.

ü       Other materials can be added, specific information required based on empirical results gathered on a wide range of pipe sizes.

ü       After sales back up and for 1 year.

ü       Updates over next 5 years when they become available.
